Here are step-by-step instructions on how anyone can track the STRs in Incline/Crystal Bay. The resulting MAP provides a current view of the STRs in our little town.

1. Go to the County assessor page by CLICKING: https://www.washoecounty.gov/assessor/cama/

2. In the Search Box enter any street address and street name. Then CLICK on the property listing that shows up in results. If you want to review your own property assessor documentation, then use your address. Going on to the next step gets you to the STR map.

3. Just above the “WASHOE COUNTY ASSESSOR PROPERTY DATA” in the mid to upper left you will see in blue: Parcel Map WRMS Flood Plain Tax.

CLICK on WRMS. Let the page load and once loaded it shows the parcel for the address entered as the search address at the start of this exercise.

4. Now, Using the + and – signs in the upper right and scroll out by CLICKING the – sign until you can see most of Incline on the map.

5. Then go to the upper left and CLICK the three lines just below Washoe Regional Mapping System.

6. Once you click this box of three lines you will see “Layers and Tools” slide out. Look down the list and find SHORT TERM RENTAL PERMITS and CLICK on that tab.

7. Dropping down will be another tab called Short Term Rentals – CLICK on that tab. NOW THE ENTIRE MAP SHOULD BE POPULATED WITH ICONs THAT INDICATE WHICH PROPERTIES HAVE AN EXISTING STR ACTIVE PERMIT.
