Don’t we, as Incline residents, have a right to sue the state demanding that they use their discretion and power to obtain for us residents, an audited financial report that, as I understand, it is their responsibility to do? Giving IVGID constant reprieves is not doing the residents and tax payers of Incline any benefit. They should put their foot down.
And I agree, no new IVGID manager until the problems are solved.
A more effective approach may be to contact Nevada Governor Lombardo. He (and the Dept of Education) have appointed a Compliance Monitor for the Clark County School District on Nov 26. He had written a letter to the head of the Dept of Taxation about CCSD – saw that they just appointed a subcommittee – and decided to take action. The Nevada Constitution guarantees the right to petition – so please consider petitioning the Governor rather than a lawsuit.
